This site shows you how to check plagiarism through Google and library
databases:
Another Google Guide to detecting plagiarism:
Glatt Plagiarism Services: a self-detection program for
students. Students copy and paste the electronic copy of their text into
the box and it will email them the percentage that the computer thinks
their writing is plagiarized. Don't rely on this, but it may be used as
an indicator.
The Plagiarism Resource Site: Free software for download
developed by Professor Louis A. Bloomfield to detect similarities between
texts turned in by his physics students. Very effective at identifying
similar phrases in works being compared. Several versions available for
download.
