Spring Programs

There is NO Spring Program for First Grade.

All progams are on Friday afternoons at 2:45 on the WM Cafeteria Stage. DOORS OPEN NO EARLIER THAN 2:30 P.M.

• 3rd Grade, Friday, May 9, 2:45
• 4th Grade, Friday, May 16, 2:45

Glee Club

Glee Club meets on Wednesdays after school until 4:45 p.m. through the end of April. Please see the calendar below and note the March dates Glee Club will NOT meet. There are two, March 5 amd March 12. April 2 is Spring Break. We will invite parents to join us for a sing along and refreshments on our last meeting, April 30.

Recorders

Your child should be able to play the following songs with relative ease by now:

• Hot Cross Buns
• Jolly Old St. Nicholas
• Major Duple in the keys of G Major and Bb Major.
• Pierrot in G and Bb.
• The chord root melodies to Major Duple and Pierrot in G Major.

Your child should be able to SING any of the above songs by giving her or himself the starting pitch from the recorder.

Your child should be able to demonstrate a knowledge of reading and writing the following treble clef pitches that are used on recorder: (Low) D and E, and Treble F#, G, A, B, Bb, C, D

Your child should be able to read simple rhythms in duple meter.
