I am Abby Updegraff and I am a fifth grade teacher at the Heritage Annex. Many of you may know me as Ms. McNitt. I used to teach third grade at Woodland Meadows, but recently I got married and changed grade levels. It has been a very busy summer! I love teaching fifth grade and am impressed every day at how wonderful the students are. I teach Reading and Social Studies to both homeroom classes and love the great discussions that these subjects lead us into as a class. One of my favorite things to do outside of school is travel. My favorite trip was to Australia, where I lived for three months while student teaching. I am looking forward to a great year with the Extreme Team.
